Features and Characteristics

• Realistic Mechanism: The replica features a functioning loading and firing mechanism, simulating the real experience.
• Materials: Made of metal and wood for an authentic feel and appearance.
• Lever Action: Replicates the classic repeating rifle with lever-action functionality, allowing for rapid firing sequences.

The Mare’s Leg was known for its ability to fire multiple shots before reloading, thanks to the lever-action mechanism that feeds new cartridges. The horizontal movement in the mechanism, where a lever is activated to unlock and move the breechblock, contributes to the rapid reloading. This design marked a return to revolver cartridges with lower pressure, making the weapon more durable and efficient.

This replica is ideal for recreating historical moments and providing an authentic feel of the American West. It holds a special place in the hearts of those who remember Josh Randall and his iconic weapon.
